Image compressor and resizer
Shrink JPG, PNG and WebP images without visible quality loss and resize them in bulk. Free, nothing is uploaded.
How to compress images
- Drop your images into the box above or choose them. You can add several at once.
- Pick the output format, quality and maximum width. For websites, WebP at 1920 px is usually the best balance.
- Each image shows its new size and how much you saved. Download them one by one or with “Download all”.
Which settings should I use?
- WebP: usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality, supported by all modern browsers.
- JPG: the most compatible format for photos. 75–85% quality is visually indistinguishable.
- PNG: for logos and screenshots that need transparency.
Privacy
Your images are never uploaded; everything happens in your browser. Hidden data in photos, such as GPS location and device details, is removed from the output.
Frequently asked questions
Does compressing reduce quality?
It depends on the quality setting. Between 75 and 85% the difference is usually invisible while the file gets much smaller.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is processed in your browser; your images never leave your device.
Is location data removed?
Yes. Because the image is re-encoded, EXIF data (GPS location, camera model etc.) is not carried over.
